The floppiness of the eary-bits was mostly inspired by the Marmusy species, the Selyan.

Well, congratz Odendo -- I can effectively say that I cannot choose a favorite species here! They are all too darn cute. =( I -can- say my least preferred are Milarc, but that's just because they are cats =P

I want to learn more about these different species. Especially the Selyan. Floppy-eared fellows~ :P

These are amusing and adorable species to populate a world. Call me greedy, but you should do some subspecies.

You mean as in slight differences in features/coloration? I could do that!

You could go pretty far with the idea. Color variations, color pattern variations, alternate body features. Like maybe there are Milarcs who are very good at natural camouflage (like an unintended mutant gene) or perhaps there are Yormi adapted for aquatic environments rather than terrestrial. Maybe some of the Selyan are much more feral and aggressive than the Selyan pictured, and the Slindells who typically come into contact with this kind of Selyan are a separate cultural group who regularly combat them in their wilderness habitat devoid of good scraps to build with. A broad range of subgroups for each race could lead for many different interpretations of what the other race is like, since they may only know about one group of any given race.

I'm willing to lend some time down the line (busy at present with stuff) if you actually want to make some web-based-type games of some sort, since that's the kinda thing I do.

It's still in a really basic state at the moment- I want to fully flesh out everything, to the most minute detail. I was going to do a series of drawings and stuff based on it, but a game sounds neat! I have to get a lot more written up however (and I'm horrible at writing :T )
