Thanks! It was a lotta fun, especially after completing the previous one. It seemed like there I had pushed color as far as I could take it, and only then was I able to see that more subtle color palettes had a personality all their own. The contrast made it clear.
I even remember the moment it clicked. It was early morning, and I was driving to get pancakes--this diner had an early morning special--and outside was basically the colors you see in the drawing (minus the pinks). Normally I would have thought it was dull or morose, but after that last painting, it had become refreshing. I knew it was exactly the mood I wanted in the piece.

Oh yea!! That superstar piece was also amazing haha, your ability to have those vibrant colors define the action and flow of the picture and then have these cooler and calmer ones in something like this is truly awesome dude :)
