Found this at a gunshow recently.
Getting ever more rare (and expensive) by the day, I knew the moment I saw it I had to bring it home.
The previous owner did not clean it, the barrel and breech looked okay, but when I took it apart to clean it, it had some sort of yellow-tan colored particles in it...looked almost like some kind of dirt. It was also bone dry. Despite its mechanical simplicity, I took 2 hours to thoroughly clean and oil it.
And yes, one of these days, I do plan to make an SBR out of it...though stocks are harder to find than the gun itself.

I have actually fired it since its been cleaned. The gun itself functions much better, but the magazine is giving me problems. Part of the issue is the feed lips, they don't seem to want to hold the rounds at all. Which is really strange, because the first time I fired it after cleaning, it shot 20 rounds flawlessly...then it never worked right again.
