I really enjoy the little buildings speckled throughout the picture, and the way the direction of the ink and that slight but super effective texturing in the streaks gives the patches of farmland such an easily identifiable look! The trees are also so superb, I really admire artists who can make simple shapes at a distance that are super obvious in what they are, yet the shapes are so... seemingly indistinct? Idk, using simplicity for distance and still perfectly indicating what something is even miles away is awesome, I can't paint birds eye views to save my life, so this just impresses me endlessly ESPECIALLY those trees hhhhhhhhhhhhhh I also really like how you used a limited amount of color to really make the lights and the character pop!!! You have such a knack for engaging compositions >w<

Now this was one I was disappointed with the outcome because I worked so hard on it and it ended up looking like it was half arsed, so it means so much to me that you like it AND can see what I was going for in this! I must try backgrounds like this again sometime, though maybe not overload the page with water as much next time heh!
