NOTICE REGARDING REPOSTING & UNAUTHORIZED RUSSIAN TRANSLATIONS OF THE COMIC (if you are the translator please read)

Unfortunately there's something a little bit heavy I'd like to address today regarding the comic. Someone brought to my attention that an individual has been translating To Dust, without my consent and has allegedly made money from this practice of translating not only my comic but others as well, ergo profiting off of my work. It deeply saddens me that my work was taken without my permission like this. I've had To Dust, teken and posted other galleries which I have issued DMCAs in the past to have removed from various comic hosting websites as I do not allow for the posting of my work without my consent and I ask in sincerest earnest that you do not do this. But this is the first time my work has been altered without my consent and profited from and that hurts a lot...

Regarding translations in general I am willing to work with translators to bring To Dust, to a broader audience. I am also willing to compensate translators for their time. However I do require translators to work within my framework as To Dust, is not only a bilingual work with characters who speak second languages appearing later in the work, but to also respect that the comic remain posted in creator controlled galleries. The reason I am stating this here is I know the translator who has been translating To Dust, who has been translating To Dust, without my permission and thus has been harmful to me as the creator will most likely see this. And despite all this I am willing to work with him if he is willing rather than immediately go the route of DMCA or legal action. I will be contacting him directly through the websites he is using though it is difficult as I do not speak Russian so if anyone here does speak Russian please reach out to me as I could use your help in doing this if he doesn't reach out to me first. I work extremely hard to bring To Dust, to you guys and I bring it in a free to read format which is ONLY made possible by my Patrons on Patreon who so generously support my work.
