Grozny GY 01 "Crown" prototype multirole fighter
an evolution of the Mikoyan MiG 29 Fulcrum designwise, its role in combat would be comparable to that of an aircraft carrier jet. It features extended fin placement and additional wings forming a "crown" at the front for added stability on straight flights, making it ideal for bombing runs. Its engines are diagonally rectangular in shape, their vents placed on both the top and bottom of the aircraft. The top vents in particular, alongside the small vent within the "crown" are partially used to feed air to 2 mini jet engines located within the planes wings. Those engines can be used for VTOL manouvers such as vertical takeoff/landing, though skillfull usage of them can enable greater turning capabilities. Any excess air for when the VTOL jet engines aren't being used is passed through. A version without the "crown" and VTOL engines may be employed for sale to other countries or private military organizations, with the VTOL technology staying in the homecountry. Rumors about implementing a deployable UAV fighter drone in the place of the "crown" circulated in the 1990's, but were seemingly debunked after the Belkan War.
While not a particularly extravagand fighter jet, compared to other concepts Strangereal and Ace Combat has to offer, what the Grozny GY 01 brings is enough to make its performance in the battlefield felt by both sides of the conflict. Its sharp design is definitly recognizable in the sky, as seen on the [AI generated] photo included
