A jolly old bull with a glint in his eye.
Ranajot Bhattacharya is a veteran of the Human-Anthro Coalition's political world. With a long history in various different positions in the goverment, he finally making his home in the most prestigious position of them all: as one of the five councilmen leading the Coalition. He's quite the popular figure, noted for his easy charm that tends to make him feel more like a positive grandpa than a major political figurehead. Many people who have interviewed him have noted how good he is at making the whole thing feel more like a relaxing conversation between friends. Also (in)famous are his family man tendencies - his son Narayan works tirelessly to make the world proud but Ranajit would rather the young bull enjoy his youth with someone cute. Many people have confirmed the old bull asking if they happen to know someone his son's age he might like.
But those who know him on a more personal level, including the aforementioned bachelor, know better. That warm smile comes easy to Ranajit, but that's what makes it so dangerous. While he's keeping that pleasant conversation going, his eyes will be constantly evaluating you, to see if you're someone he can make use of - or if you will need to be crushed before you become a problem.

This character looks amazing!
And makes me wonder so much about the darker side of the HRCs, I'm reminded of those few first like that Mcdevitt says in outreach program, obviously in a sexual kinky sense, about how humans wish anthros would stop treating them as equals and admit the truth, how humans on sites like that worship anthros like the gods they are
I have to wonder if some HRC members really see humans in that way
With such colossal differences in size it wouldn't surprise me if most anthros see themselves as superior to humans, even in the Human Anthro Coalition

Aaah sorry for taking so long to answer this, I haven't really checked FA often lately.
And yes, I imagine lots of anthros see themselves as superior to humans in one way or another. It depends on the individual how they exactly express it though. Others are caring, others dismissive.

On the one hand, he's compassionate enough to care about keeping humans safe.
On the other, he's an extremely dangerous anthro who holds leverage over everyone, even Yoshifumi. Crossing him would be suicide. Politically, and literally. Hope Tomas doesn't p*ss him off too badly that he gets "relocated" somewhere where even Sifiso can never find him again.
