She was born on the Bonbon day - the day of traditional Caramel Harvest celebration in the clan of elgrands. And so they called her Bonbon.
On that day it was common for young men to give sweets to girls they felt attracted to. And girls used those candies to decorate their hairstyles with. The more candies adorned her head the more popular she was considered.(even though most usually such hairstyles reminded more bird nests)
