Deaths Daily October 2022
Current recorded daily average deaths from COVID-19 in the US alone is 345. Current recorded death toll in the US is over a million. Current worldwide death toll is 6.56 million. I wanted to depict an homage all 6.56 million souls lost to COVID-19, but my computer isn't robust enough to even do a week's worth of losses in the US. So many people lost. So many families fractured forever. Hundreds die every single day, just in my country alone. The loss is insurmountable, and grappling with it is hard. The best I can do is small tributes like this to those who died, and do my best not spread it.

It's not a homage/tribute when it's done only for attention and "bandwagon-ing", but hey - feel free to unleash fake righteousness and anger towards me, and block me or demand that the admins permaban me, like has happened here to other people so many times before.
At least remove your screaming selfish "look at me" copyright that you plastered all over your faltered attempt at remaining current. Your "other" artworks only have 3 copyright watermarks on them - this one has 7! Yuck.
If you have trouble deciding what to draw, why not just ask and listen to your watchers what they'd actually like to see from you? They'd love to help you out or keep an eye on other responses, otherwise they would never have watched to begin with.

This is such a weird response. To you, do the illustrations of other subjects reduce in value because the creator wishes to protect the thing they created? Do the creators who make homages to other deaths do it because they are "self righteous", and how is making memorial artwork a bandwagon of any kind? Do you think creators owe it to their watchers to only ever create things the watchers deem worth looking at, or are they allowed their own thoughts, feelings, and tastes?
What your response says to me, is that you feel entitled to approve of every single thing an artist creates. That the artist isn't entitled to protect their works. That the artist must for some reason be devoid of grief for the literal millions of people who have died during the pandemic so far. Maybe even for people they themselves have lost.
How heartless and sad. And yeah, catch this block. Maybe try to learn why people keep blocking you and make an effort to stop that behavior. Might help you out.

Picking up some serious Q vibes from this post; for what purpose do you believe that responding to a non-incidental amount of death & long-persisting complications derived from a largely-avoidable pandemic is to also join a bandwagon? Does the existence of a proliferating virus strike you as a social trend? Is it a product of social whims to you? Does it seem pop-fabricated?
And christ almighty, that's a bit of entitlement in that last line; since when is any artist obliged to send their creativity out as a hostage to others' interest? If you want something drawn, get out your wallet like the rest of us.
What a fucking odd post, dawg.

Yeah it's real bandwagony RIGHT AT THIS MOMENT, when literally everyone is pretending that covid is over, acting like no one is dying or getting long term health issues from it. Wouldn't your ass backwards whining be more prescient if this was put up during the height of the pandemic?
An image like this is more likely to be appropriated by people writing about covid as it is a good clear graphic depicting the large death toll. It's a no brainier she needs to add more watermarks to avoid that shit.
Just another UwU draw only fuzzy wuzzy ooo stuff me likey crybaby

What a strange responce you got on this art 0-0 You (artist) draw what you feel you need to draw (you are worried about the situation). I can understand why somebody may not like the piece, but why not just skip it and go browse other arts x)?
In my country, during the first wave of covid, things were organized awfully as well and was making me super upset and sad. If the vacination advertising (and other things) were organized better, I believe we would be much safer now.
I like the idea of art, and watermarking it is super reasonable, because I feel it could be used without credits in many places. For me personally this art is another reminder to wear a mask when I visit my elder or ill relatives (I got covid myself last week, but it felt too bad for me, a healthy adult). I made the test at a first day I had feeling of illness and isolated myself before the test was negative, told about it everybody I contacted during a week, but how many people didn't do it?

Thanks for your Tribute!
It also breaks my heart to see this death tall and have the ugly feeling a lot of those death could have been prevented in some way. But those are thoughts as it is to late.
Just last week i found out about another Furry artists that died this year on corona. He became only 28years old. His Name was otterlike.
Maybe we should gave the victims a name instead of fearing scientific evident solutions.

The loss of life is unfathomable, and still yet the number is SO very high every single day. I am immunocompromised from a kidney transplant, the fear -never- stops as im around so many people who love to just pretend covid isn't a thing that is still very much a danger. All we can do is continue to stay safe, and be careful, it will be a long time until we're out of the woods. It's a struggle to even try and wrap my head around the death toll at this point.
This is a very heartbreaking but beautiful image. As a healthcare worker who also happens to be allergic to the vaccine, this pandemic has been an absolute nightmare. So many people lost, so many families broken, and all for most people to act like it’s over and go back to “normal.” There are multiple new cases presenting daily and it’s overwhelming. My heart breaks for everyone who’s been affected by this. I just wish people understood how serious this still is. Even if it doesn’t kill you, the virus has long term effects that are not very well understood. I’m 28, caught it, and now I have permanent heart damage. Yet there’s so many people running around with no masks, no vaccine/boosters, nothing, thinking they’re invincible and not caring about anyone around them.
I’m glad to know there are still people out here just as upset and outraged by all this senseless loss as I am.

This is so essential to say and not let quiet. The virus isn't just a bad cold, it's possible permanent injury, and there is this miasma of ignorance that people are endangering immunocompromised peeps or those who can't get a vaccine. The vaxable have a collective responsibility to the unvaxable, and it's been like that looong before corona. There is such a huge unseen vulnerability that the fully protectable (like me) have been ignorant about (like I was) till this thing opened my awareness.
honestly... I think that number of 6.56 million isn't all that accurate since CCP had stopped posting updates of their covid deaths, and Fat Kim in North Korea refused to list the total number of people dying there.
And the fact that some deaths weren't Covid related but were the results of other medical-related deaths. Like when my grandfather passed away, my grandmother and mother had to tell them to rewrite the actual cause of death since the person who wrote the death certificate put covid on it(my grandmother and mom work at the courthouse so they knew what words to use to make them put the proper cause on that legal document).
