Ye in the mythology he's definitely more true neutral than anything. In my interpretation of the upcoming stories he hopes for the best for all!

I believe I read he protected the dead from evil spirits/beings on the journey to the afterlife, as well as aiding in judgement of the soul. :) Still my fav Pre-Christian deity. :)
