Role

Xyckra serves as a mobile backup non-biological computational engine that was once the homeworld of the Xyckryons.

It often has an escort of between 1,000 to 4,000 Syyckyrs with the entire Xyckryon collective ready to delta-drive into Xyckrya's light year radius if need be. Xyckra is incredibly important to the Xyckryons being the only Xyckryon among them that is non-biological.

Xyckra ranks (technically) higher than the Lykrysons given that there is only to be one non-biological computational engine in existence, much less one Xyckryon home world.

However, Xyckra isn't alone. Although it has its own mobile thrust array and planetary shielding. There are hundreds more of what are called Core-Worlds that look much like Xyckra however do not have the computational capabilities and more or less serve as waypoints for the Xyckryons to refuel their damaged Xyckryon nanites if low.

Xyckra does have a core consciousness, however it is often linked directly with a Lykryson to help boost performance and communication.

Xyckra was constructed at a time when the Xyckryons themselves were incredibly weak and unwelcomed in the universe. They had no purpose and varied rarely ventured out of their own system. However, with the full conversion of Xyckra, they were able to better organize themselves until a stronger vessel was created. Xyckra lead to the creation of the first Lykryson, Yynyyearyyyia, and without Xyckra, the Xyckryons wouldn't have the processing power nor the strength to venture into the galaxy.

It's main function is to serve as a link between the Xyckryons and the Lykryson, usually positioned at either the galactic center or the galactic midpoint from the center to the edge, farthest from the Lykryson. Kinda like a Forward Operation Base for the areas farthest from the Lykryson's influence since the Lykryson can't really move into the without being at risk.

Contingency

Should Xyckra Fall, the Xyckryons next task would be to quickly create a replicant of Xyckra, since Xyckra is completely made out of Xyckryon crystal nanites. However, the Xyckryons do not take easily to this since it would mean lost communication for the Xyckryons farthest from the Lykrysons influence.

Until a Xyckra is replace, all Xyckryon vessels are recalled to the closest point to reestablish communications with the Lykryson.

Once a Xyckra is replaced, an operation/assimilation campaign will be declared on the offenders until their entire race/offenders is catalogued and then terminated via solar ignition of inhabitant/offending worlds/systems.

Although the Xyckryons reserve hostilities until threatened, the loss of a Xyckra would prompt, full declaration of aggression.

Weapons

Although the Xyckryons rely on their anti-technology warfare as a defense, Xyckra is more than capable of disabling entire fleets or at least fleeing to ranges outside of aggression for safety.
