⦁ Biography: Verina is one of the many 1/2 mermaids born to Junichiro & Palutena. Born a day just before Kohaku, she is the twin sister of Raven. As Verina was born a minute after Raven, she is the younger twin of the two. Like Raven, Verina has always had an interest in the black arts of magic, but couldn't really decide on how best to learn how to use them. When her older sister Serhilda took up being a warlock, Verina was inspired to do the same exact thing. While Serhilda took up the destruction aspect & her twin sister studied up on the Demonology aspect, Verina found she had an unmatched knack for inflicting hexes. A lot better than Serhilda & Raven even, and so Verina took up becoming an Affliction Warlock to complete the triad. After learning much of the magical ropes at her home in Olympus, she traveled to Azeroth with several of her Warcraft themed sisters to further sharpen her skills as an Affliction Warlock. While Verina managed to complete her training & studies on being an Affliction Warlock, she was beset by a death knight who tried to steal her powers for his own. Verina however, fought back against the death knight & won by draining all of his life. From there, Verina developed an unbreakable hatred for all death knights; swearing either to see them all dead, or revived in full. Even so, Verina vows to do all she can to protect her world, Azeroth, and other worlds from the never-ending threat of evil. Verina may have the same kind & caring nature as many of her siblings display, but in terms of temperament, she's the polar opposite of Raven: She has been known to become extremely violent when she gets angry. Those that trigger her anger often don't live to do much else, or wind up cursed with pain depending on her mood. Like Raven, Verina has a softspot for black cats & she owns two shorthaired ones herself: Maple & Syrup. Like Raven, Verina does not like her black panthers being labeled as harbingers of bad luck, but Verina is a lot more hostile on the subject. It is not unheard of for her to plant a curse on anyone who says her cats brought them bad luck. She loves anything related to Vampires & is often found reading a novel about vampires, or playing a game that involves them. However, she too is a proven absolute mudlark & if she is enraged, quicksand will make it evaporate instantly. As mentioned, Verina harbors an intense hatred for death knights. It has gotten to the point where she won't even work with the Knights of the Ebon Blade. However, her view on the Ebon Blade has begun to thaw immensely. The best at making vicious hexes.
⦁ Abilities: As a 1/2 Mermaid, Raven is capable of entering her mermaid form at any time she enters the water. Though she prefers her water to be fresh, seawater, or at the very least cleaned before transforming. Verina is a talented Affliction Warlock being a mistress of shadow magic & planting horrific curses on anyone unfortunate enough to be on her receiving end. She is also unmatched in delivering DoT effects when the need arises, and often does not hesitate to stack the effects to make things worse for her target. Verina has also taken the art of health draining to great levels as she creates gear for herself to do exactly this. When it comes to controlling demons however, Verina is quite skilled in the art, even knowing Eredun just to make them fall in line when needed. Verina is a master of voodoo & hexes as well. She knows the art of voodoo so well that it's nigh impossible to outdo her as she's always one step ahead. As far as hexes go, Verina is able to make & cast a number of her own homemade ones that would make even Tharja jealous to an extent. She knows all an affliction warlock can learn by level up, and she starts with these weapons; all of which have to do with vampires in some way.
⦁ Vampiric Staff: A staff with the head modeled after Dracula's demonic head. The fangs on it are not just for show. If Verina hits her foe just right so that the fangs connect, she can then use the staff to drain her target of their life energy to heal herself whenever she doesn't have enough mana to use Drain Life.
⦁ Ulthalesh, the Deadwind Harvester: This scythe is a replicated version of the original scythe itself. While it doesn't harvest souls, it's still a very deadly weapon.
⦁ Dracula Runesword: A Vampiric One-Handed runesword that drains the life of its victims with each slash delivered. The blade is said to become satiated faster if it drinks the life from tanking fighters. Thankfully the runesword does not need to be fed constantly.
⦁ Carmilla's Fang: A sharp crimson dagger that inflicts wounds so deep, it'd take hours just to make the bleeding stop.
