So this one has been reasonably popular when I've posted it elsewhere, it seems. Lately, I finally brought it to an overdue conclusion - not in story terms, I don't think(at 48ish thousand words, it doesn't quite qualify for the label of "novel", if one uses NaNoWriMo measures), but just in that it took me freaking years to finally get through it all. Mostly because of a lot of procrastination spurred on by a litlte bit of lack-of-inspiration.

Anyway, back in October, I brought it to its conclusion, and now I have some art to post as its icon.

Tim Carver is a white tiger, just another twenty-something trying to hold down a decent job and just maybe find some romance on the side. He's never been lucky in that, so when he sees a personal ad by a pair of skunks just looking for some company to help them get settled in their new town, he jumps at the chance.

And things progress from there...

Posted here are the first two chapters. Nothing naughty here; the full story does contain adult material, gay, straight, and bisexual. The story interface here being what it is, I am not about to wrestle with it to try to get the whole thing posted on FA; if you want to see more, you can view it on my storyblog - either start from the beginning here, or, if you've already read what's posted here and want to go on to new material, you can go directly to Chapter Three.

Note that character sizes in the image are somewhat misleading. Tim is very much an adult, but he's also a pretty small guy, at 5'7"ish; Sarah is fairly tall for a woman at somewhere around six feet; Sam, at around 6'8", is just plain big enough to make Tim look like a kid by comparison.
