I've been waiting to show this for a long time. Nyri is a character I've had for years, and have gotten tons of art of, but I've never properly uploaded a ref sheet for her. She's one of the central characters in my main fantasy project, The Dark Echo, and one of my favorite characters that I've written/designed. I'm really happy to finally show her off, and expect uploads of her art soon!

Name: Nyri.
Body Type: Thin, fit.

Gender: Female.
Species: Wolf/hawk/fox hybrid.
Likes: Seeing new places, getting into fights, nice clothes, being shown affection, caring for others.
Dislikes: Responsibilities, being stared at, trusting others, being pitied, any kind of restraint/confinement.
Fears: Being imprisoned or trapped, causing pain or injury to those she cares about, pain.
Height: 5 feet 9 inches.
Weight: 135 lbs.
Age: 22.
Sexual Orientation: Gay.

Personality: Standoffish, curious, stubborn, and prideful. She tends to get offended easily, especially when someone insults her father or heritage, and acts rashly when she becomes emotionally charged or vulnerable. This can apply to romance and friendships as well; despite her initially distrustful nature, she will go to extreme lengths to protect or help the people she loves. She likes to think of herself as a rebel, but is more sensitive and caring than even she realizes. She's also a curious soul, and loves to wander and explore new places and learn new things. When possible, she'd easily spend hours learning history and magic and anything else she could get her hands on.

Bio: While wolf and hawk crossbreeds are uncommon as is, Nyri's added fox blood makes her one of a very rare bloodline of hybrids. Unfortunately for her, this also made her a social and societal outcast in her village. When things went wrong, Nyri was frequently blamed, and few but her father ever tolerated her for longer than they had to. As she grew older, the accusations worsened, and were given more weight by the nobles and authorities who would jump at any excuse to get rid of her. Finally, after a fight with her city's local lord turned violent, Nyri was imprisoned and sentenced to Grounding, a ceremony by which her hands and wings would be removed. At the last moment, however, she was rescued by her father who helped her escape into distant lands, hunted but free.
