I wonder why is so much artists don't bothering themselves placing a watermarks or links on their arts... This is an amazing character picture, looking great. But no one will know it's your work if picture will be stolen. Your arts is great, please make sure protecc it better and let others know where to find an author with placing signatures on it ~ ♥

it's funny bcz this art is the only one without watermark (if i remember it right) and i don't even like it so i don't value it.

That's a common thing to artists - we don't value our own arts for some reasons but I see it and it attracts me a lot! And I can tell for sure it's really valuable, trust me at least if you don't believe yourself :))
I'm not much of a real artist myself but still I began to care about it after a quarrell with my RP fellow that used to take and repaint several different artist's works for her characters playing them with me while I drawn mine ones myself). Not so bad way at all (if she were tell that she got pictures from away and remade) but I thought she drawn it herself cuz she told 'I did this!' meaning repaint. She took it from Pinterest and my friend helped me find real artists. So... I think it's worth to bother myself telling all this (maybe not so important) stuff to you because I like your art and feel I need to share the warning.

Retirning to the theme... Signatures are quite often speaking of artist not much. For example I can't find artist by this signature 'Blue' --> https://www.furaffinity.net/view/45793553/

Watermark is harder to cut and pain off, link also included AND STILL! No harm to view, it's still pleasant to look at and still much harder to copy&paste (or even print as merch) ^ ^

For myself I came up with things like this,adding watermark on arts I don't want others to take with text. I don't think some1 can really want to steal this but that's how I protecc myself ^ ^

AND! One more thing why you have to add watermarks when you upload anything in web is bcs without it when art stolen and watermark cut off you still have a chance to find an original art via Google search. My friend found originals for me this way.

AND if there's version with watermark - you can at least have it as proof of your authorship (cuz only you'd have full version without it or anyone else can add theirs and tell it their work)

Yas all these things are right and I’ll think about the new one signature, but i think most of works we can find by photo (always doing it when searching the authors of the paintings, found roberto ferri this way)
