So, I just got a truck from my parents. It's a 1989 Toyota Hilux, which any Top Gear fan will tell you is a pretty bitchin cool thing own :D
My parents had it worked on after it had gotten in a front end collision witch fuckerd up the front end of the truck pretty badly. Thing is, the mechanic over looked this little beauty.
That circular spot is the imprint left by the fan that this was shoved into during the wreck. I suspect that this might be responsible for the overheating issues I was having recently.

Teflon is really tough shit! I have seen all kinds of wonderfully durable things made from it. It is nice that it wasn't able to do more than take out a good portion of the coolant tubes (I don't now what you call those). I am amazed that this did'nt cause problems before now.
Granted, that's most likely the cause of your heating up problem, once you get a new radiator, go ahead and fill it up, and watch VERY carefully for any fluids going down. Start it up, and watch the top of the radiator for any bubbles. Would hate to see you drive off with a head gasket leak caused by any previous overheating >.<
Nah, I have had a car that died of overheating before, I am pretty familiar with how hot is too hot. I was keeping an eagle eye on that temp gauge making sure it never went over 75%.
We got the new rad in and put new hoses on it and it now runs great! Coolest running vehicle I have ever driven in fact. I suspect the head gasket is fine.

That's great! Glad you watch ... saves serious problems down the road, you will love yourself with all the money you save XP (Not poking fun at anyone ... welll ... MAYBE my folks ... "It still runs, right? Never mind I just ran outta' oil ...") But great news that everything's put back together right! *applauds!*
