Because there is so much doing in this universe, non-doing is a balancing. As we grow spiritually, we become more soft, more subtle, less materialistic and more psychedelic. Matter is always a little bit hard. It is the divine being asleep. A glimpse of awakening and melting with the divine is called samadhi, and when the process of spiritual growth is highly advanced, we can chose to be in a permanent samadhi and leave the physical dimension without returning to it. This is called mahasamadhi. This is only possible for souls who have achieved spiritual liberation from bondage to matter in this lifetime. Somebody who has melted with the divine has attained the Buddha nature or the Krishna consciousness. It is the arrival of the soul to the state of unconditional contentment, where there is no duality and no perception of a separate "me". The duality is a dimension of doing and that's why I also call it the do-ality. So when we leave the do-ality, we can melt with the divine.
