In 2020 my friends streamed Cats (2019) and later Cats (1998 film production). The first was for jokes, the second was out of genuine appreciation. I got really into the soundtrack for a while, and being a big fan of Rover from Animal Crossing, I connected two points and got the idea to commission this. I suppose in a sense this art is a tribute to growing friendships out of strange, beautiful, things.
