I think I will always be shocked by what a stellar job you do at recreating tiny details that few tend to notice, much less incorporate into art. Like the red-orange speckles and tints to the leaves on the blackberry, or the way the ripeness of the berries varies not only from fruit to fruit but also across the scale of a single berry- it's a really charming detail! I also just adore the way you've shaded and textured everything, it all looks so real!! Makes me sad my blackberries here perished in the freeze, This made me miss them tremendously ahhh.... I had given up on reliving the blackberry nostalgia but alas I got my fix from this artwork <3 I like to think there was a tiny little witch-mouse gathering berries in my blackberry bushes before they expired, entertaining that thought makes me happy. I quite like the way the manner in which she's got her dress as a basket, clearly the proper use of any baggier cloth is to fill it with berries! or rocks, or sticks, or strange little seed pods. I love the idea here and I especially love the outcome- and I hope her pies and cold remedies turned out lovely :>
