As I said in an earlier post. This was 73096s last steaming on the Mid-Hants before its 10 yearly overhaul was due. Plus at the time it was to leave the railway for Carnforth for potential overhaul and possible use on the national network. However the loco returned to the Mid-Hants after being bought by the railway in 2018.
It is hoped by 2030 the loco will return to steam, Sept 2011.
