So I was reading my giant book of Hell [Hellboy Vol. 2, The Chained Coffin and Others, The Right Hand of Doom] and I was reading through all of Mike’s notes in the back about the stories in the book and his sketchbook. In the back there was a sketch of The Fallen One, [aka Hellboy’s dad] and I instantly fell in love with him, his crocked horns, his bandages, everything. So I decided to do a little sketch doodle myself. Looking through and reading all his notes really inspired me. I understand why he likes to draw demons, they’re fun!

So here we have Hellboy’s dad in all of his kingly glory. Picture referenced from the sketchbook.

This one was a quikie, only took me a little less than 2 hours to draw. Now I best be getting back to that last picture for my promotional trailer. I’ve been stalling. BC
