Dorango was the 13th Kaiju in the Fireman TV series, serving as the Monster of the week in Ep.13, Fear the Swamp Dragon God.

_Bio and Abilities_
Dorango was a Space Dragon Kaiju who serve Alien Tran and arrive on an capsule, but its control device was lost and found by a child; Dorango was serpentine in design, with two arms, for legs and a long tail, its body was covered by golden color cover scales; It could breath fire from the mouth and use its tail to rope its enemies.

Dorango's roar was a modified of Barugon from the Gamera Showa series; it suit was reused to make the Kaiju Makunosaurus by removing its back legs; it was among the many Kaiju whose stock footage was used in Dinosaur Great War Izenborg; finally, Dorango makes a cameo in the Redman Manga.

A UFO flies over a swamp at night when and drops a capsule on its waters; two aliens from Tran glide to the ground, but a metal box, attach to a parachute, is pushed away by the wind and deeper into the Woods, the box is later found by an elder village woman the following morning, who discovers a TV like device inside – SAF is made notice of the UFO and worries as the location is close to Nuclear Storage facility near the Village of the Dragon God, which Chiba's home town; he and Misaki travel there to investigate the situation, as well for Chiba to see his old Girlfriend.

At the Village, the locals holds the Dragon Festival; while the Teacher (Noguchi and Chiba's sweetheart) has concern for one of the students, Taichi, while the Tran are nearby searching for their Device, capture Noguchi and try to force her to use the children to search for the Control Device under threat of killing the kids. Meanwhile, Misaki and Chiba arrive on the village, Chiba looking for her, but nowhere to be found, a police officer arrives having found her scarf near the Swamp and the group searches for her. Elsewhere, Taichi arrives home and finds the Machine, thinking is a TV his father promise to get him; he begins to play with his new set, not knowing it controls the Space Dragon Kaiju Dorango still in its Capsule – the glowing activity in the Swamp is seeing by the Search Party, with Misaki and Chiba detecting huge quantities of Radiation; the Tran watch the events close by.

With the Teachers disappearance believe to be an act of the Dragon God, the villagers oppose exploration of the Swamp, while Mizushima flies there to provide help, using his Invader Detector Prototype; Mr. Noguchi appears under the trance of the Aliens and begins to call the Children to her control; Chiba learns of Noguchi and searches for her, only to find the Children lurking nearby wearing the Dragon Masks; Chiba finds Noguchi and now free from the Aliens' control (somehow?) but find the blueprints for the Control Device close by, but Noguchi has no recollection or knowledge, Mizushima concludes is a machine from the aliens; Meanwhile the children search for it all over the village, but faint when Noguchi appears and tells them to stop. In the pandemonium, Taichi runs away with the Device, SAF and a local Cop follow him to the woods, where his continue usage of the device leads to the releasing of Dorango.

SAF catches to Taichi, but are attacked by the Tran, trying to get back the device; in the fight, SAF is able to mortally wound the Invaders, but one of the Tran destroys the Device before dying, allowing Dorango to go on a Rampage attacking the village - in the Chaos, Misaki transforms into Fireman and Battles Dorango.

While Fireman is able to make a stand, Dorango overpowers him and chokes him with its tail, tossing him into the lake. Marigon shoots at the beast, taking its attention, allowing Fireman to stand up and finish off Dorango with a FireFlash; the Villagers celebrate the Monsters defeat.

After the Battle, SAF donates a TV set for the Students and Taiichi gets a message from his Father in Tokyo.
