Ring for help

At the small farm by the village, The Humbricton family were in the middle doing their annual chores for the day. The father was busy welding some new shoes for several horses that need them for their long trip. The mother was making some new medicine for a nearby medical place that open not too long ago. The two young sibling, Flora, and Lorense were both getting ready to escort some flocks of sheep to the other side of town, and get their wool shaved off to sell. Lorense was yawing a little, feeling tired that he had to wake up super early to traveled the sheep. Flora didn't pay much attention of her younger brother, since she was counting the sheep that each one was here. Lorense asked his sister if she was done yet, since he want to head out soon, and get back to take another cat nap. Flora roll her eyes to her brother, and tell him that she want to make sure that all the sheep are counted, before we even leave. While the brother pretend of not hearing her sister speech, he pointed his finger in the air, trying to tell his sister something. At first, Flora wasn't sure what her brother was pointing, until she saw one of the sheep escape from the flocks, and busy eating grass. Flora sigh to herself knowing this trip was going to be difficult without extra help. Lorense agreed with his sister, and suggested that they should forget the trip and try the next day. Deep down, Flora would like to do that, but she know her parents are relying on them to get the sheep to the next town, and get the job done. She even said that their older sister, and brother could have easily gotten the work done, and be home for supper. Lorense didn't said a word once, he heard about their older sibling. Flora nearly forgot how her younger brother felt when both of them went missing for a long time. They knew their older brother went on a big journey for adventure, but never return. Soon after, their older sister, Loriella was doing an important quest, but haven't been heard from again. Both their parents knows that, Loriella, and their older brother are doing fine, but neither, Flora or Lorense felt like something odd happen to them, but not sure what. Lorense finally said something, which the same time a snarky remark, that their older sibling are doing something much bigger things than caring about the family farm. Flora try to talk some sense to her younger brother, but instead letting him go. Flora does felt the same way as he does, but she know her older siblings are out there, but have to wait.

Outside from the main gate of the small village, the two sibling started escorting the flocks of sheep, it wasn't easy keeping them from running off all the time. Lorense was leading from the rear making sure that the sheep doesn't kept on running away, while Flora was in the front leading the sheep. During their journey, the sibling kept their eyes of the area, they heard rumors that things haven't been safe as often. Words on the streets that wolves had been attacking travelers as of late, and people not sure why. Even worst people talked about a scary witch with emerald eyes and her daughter lived in the deepest part of the forest, and kidnap people for evil witchcraft. Lorense had no issue dealing with wolves by using arrows, but witches isn't something he wasn't sure with. Flora is curious of meeting the witch that she heard story about. She learn that the witch was able to use her magic in ways that was sort of strange to the villagers. During the hot season the evil witch use a potion to bring back water from the dried up wells, or cure people from sickness that was hard to heal. In secret, Flora always wanted to learn how to use witchcraft, which part of her hope to meet the witch to teach her how to control magic. Lorense didn't want to deal with the witch that much, but as for wolves, he sort of hope the witch stop by to help them in their needs. The young sibling continue escorting the flocks of sheep down the road. From a distance a pack of wolves were watching their meals strolling by. The pack leader of the wolves glare at the sheep's, but had his eyes on the two people that walking with them. The pack leader order two of his wolves to head out scouting, making sure that things are clear for them for the hunt. A few hours had passed, which the night sky finally arrived. The two young sibling were halfway reaching the nearby village they need to be. Lorense is relief that they are almost there, and excited to relax from this long journey. Flora ears were down, sensing something bad in the air. Lorense look at his sister, and see if everything was alright. Flora stop moving, which made the sheep's going any further. At the same time, the flock of sheep's felt something too, and started acting nervous of the situation. Lorense join the club once he heard howling noise that wasn't too far. Flora tell her brother that the wolves are coming. Lorense grab his bow and arrows to ready to aim at the wolves. Flora had her guide staff to use for defense, but she felt her hands were warming up, like a certain magic energy is trying to waken inside her. Flora shake her hands a little, hoping the glow gone away, she heard her brother that the wolves were coming from the hills, and fast. The young sibling saw the pack of wolves in a formation racing towards them. The flock of sheep's saw the wolves, and started running the opposite direction. Flora, and Lorense gone after the sheep's trying to keep them close. When they tried to chase after them, a bunch of other wolves appeared from the bushes, trying to attack the sibling. Flora use her staff to hit one of the wolves, while Lorense use his arrows to shot the rest. The wolves felt the hit from the arrows, and rand away. The sibling were happy to stop them, but soon relies they nearly forgot about the other pack. The rest of the pack of wolves caught up to the sibling, even surrounded them in a circle from running away. Flora stood behind by her brother side, while Lorense stood strong facing the wolves. The leader of the pact came in front of them sibling, the wolves was nearly the size of a wagon, able to take down several guards. The sibling can see some scares on the pact leader body, knowing that he won't be easy. Feeling nervous seeing the giant wolf, Lorense wasn't sure what to do next. Even if he use his arrows against the wolf, he know it won't do much, and harm them both. Lorense know he have to protect his sister from danger, but the same time have no idea what to do next. The giant wolf was getting closer, and closer to the two sibling, wondering which one it will harm first. The giant wolf was able to smell something that catches it scent, a scent of someone uses magic. He eyes went over to, Flora side, knowing he found a hidden witch within her. Lorense tried to stop the wolf, but push towards the ground. Flora try to help her brother, but the giant wolf stood in her way. The wolf can smell a magic user, one that of a witch that attack him several times before. He know this young women isn't the one he seek, but he had hunted several people that harness magic within. Flora attack the wolf from letting it get any closer, but the giant wolf grab the stick with it mouth and toss it away. Flora hands were glowing in flames, but the same time felt scared using them. The giant wolf use his claws to attack her, but she able to dodge it. Lorense did his best to get up to help his sister, but he notice something that flown by his eyes like a flash, which a figure was going after the giant wolf. Flora was running away from the wolf, but see it getting closer. The wolf was about to make it move, but felt something was sitting on his back. The giant wolf stop in his track, and give his attention by trying to get whatever it was on his back. Flora stop running, and saw the giant wolf trying to get rid a mysterious stranger on his back. At first she thought it was her brother, but this person figure was more narrow structure. The mysterious person was having fun ridding the giant wolf on the back, moving him one place to the another. The giant wolf was getting annoyed with the person and decided to land on his side to get it off. The mysterious person got off quickly, and landed nearby Flora. Flora wasn't sure who the mysterious person was, but the person tell her to trust her judgement that the person was a friend. Once she heard those words, Flora cautiously trusted the person. The giant wolf got up from the ground, and was fed up with the mysterious stranger. The stranger grab a small dagger from it side, and ready itself for a fight. The giant wolf felt overly confident, knowing it can take the person down, and the girl as well. Flora felt nervous, but the same time she remember to trust the mysterious person. The giant started running, but this time made a leap in the air for a greater attack. Lorense was scared for his sister safety, once he saw the wolf leap in high distance. Flora try to show a brave face, and the mysterious person grin to themselves knowing that the wolf already lost. The giant wolf was about to land, but saw something that didn't catch his eyes earlier. He see the ground was moving, making a hole that was deep enough. The giant wolf didn't had time to move, which he fell inside the deep hole. Lorense was shock to see the giant wolf fell inside that big hole, even Flora the same time relief they aren't hurt. The mysterious person walked towards the giant hole gloating a little that the giant wolf was defeated by the great hero Rosina. While she was gloating, Rosina saw the glowing eyes of the giant wolf trying to escape, which caught her off guard. She jump a little knowing she screw up that the wolf is about to get out. The giant wolf crawl by the walls of the ground, tried to make one big jump out. At first he was about to be free, but soon it saw the walls of the ground sealing itself, which he won't be seen again. Rosina was glad that her mother was able to seal the ground in time, able to stop the wolf from coming. Flora got close to the mysterious stranger. She is able to see, Rosina face of a hybrid doe/cat. Flora never seen the person, but have an odd present of someone she knew. While her mind was thinking about, Flora was able to help the hybrid doe/cat from the floor. Still cheerful from the situation, Rosina thank, Flora for the help, while the same time see if she was doing ok also. Flora was still stun that the hybrid knew her name without saying it. Rosina wink her eye that she got a skill knowing people name is. Lorense was halfway getting up from the floor, but it seem like he sprang his ankle from the floor. Was about to give up, but saw another figure appear in front of him. He seen an elder doe with long green hair that matches the forest. It was hard to see most of her face, all except her emerald green staring at him like a fears dragon. Lorense saw the green eyes knowing it was the evil witch from the forest. The evil witch came close to him, and see what happen. Lorense was too injured to move, but the same time was freaking out seeing the evil witch. The elder doe sigh to herself getting fed up with the people getting scared of her, but the same time she want to help this man with his injuries. The elder doe gently lower her body, and see his injuries. She grab a potion from her bag, and pour the elixir on his ankle. It took a little while for the potion take effect, which heal his ankle without an issue. Lorense was amazed how quick his ankle was healed. He wanted to thank the witch, but saw her walking away to head for his sister, and the other stranger. Lorense called out to the witch, and said thank you for healing him. She pause for a moment, hearing those words made her felt good for a moment, made her think of those kind words. The elder doe bow her head to him, and was plan to walk off. Lorense said his name to him, hoping she introduce herself. The Elder doe hesitate of wanting to say her name, but seeing she won't see him, and Flora for a while, she didn't mind. The Elder doe mention her name as Emiralda, and that was all she can say to him. Lorense will remember that name the next time he see her. The elder doe sigh to herself knowing that she had to go, and check on her daughter. She was grateful her earth potions work quickly to seal the ground to deal with the wolf, and protect her daughter, and the young boy sister. She was extra grateful to test it on the other pack of wolves before reaching them, since the wolves bodies are now part of mother nature.
