That was very neat! Fun, concise and intriguing. It left me full of questions, but still feeling that I'd been told a story.

Inorite? I mean, I had the habit of overdoing prose, especially with pretentious description bloat, but this one was a surprise to me as well. Maybe it's from recently (re)absorbing Haruki Murakami, or going for a simpler, screenplay-like thing (or Japanese light novels, they look so simple!). I've been on a David Lynch kick, lately, too.
