Day 2 of Inktober and still following the official prompt.

The word for the day is Scurry. It usually pertains to small animals like mice running across the floor.
But it is also defined as messily escaping from danger.
And thus I created a scenario for the young Rioichi Cooper and his band of thieves. Their quest for five sacred orbs led them to a haunted island ruled by the witch princess Takiyasha; whom I drew from last year's Inktober!

Knowing Rioichi is coming to steal her particular orb (the orb of Earth); she summons a host of malevolent spirits and demons to try and thwart our heroes.
Among them a giant skeleton commonly known in Japanese folklore as a Gashadokuro. This particularly nasty spirit is relentless in pursuing it's victims and is virtually unstoppable.
Our heroes scurry for cover in a giant cave as the giant skeleton attempts to reach them. They fan out in all different directions. Rioichi Cooper and his compatriots Jenti (the female raccoon), Chagama (the tanuki) and Makintaro (the hippo) hope this cave will be able to prevent the giant skeleton from entering.
They really are hoping. But they might've jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. Who knows what other malicious spirits infest this cave!
