So there's some fun lore among Aukate that Chimenticores that get stricken with eye black (or more rarely just in general are particularly ill tempered) Seek being bitten by the vampires of November. The result is a Gargoyle, over time the Chimenticore will become more and more like one from the point they were bitten until they resemble living stone. The best way to kill one is to wait for daylight and smash them when they stiffen to stone but there are other methods.
