Rec wasn't sure what to think when the delivery company he worked at underwent a huge rebranding literally overnight. If it hadn't been for the fact that his employee ID had somehow automatically changed to fit the new branding, he would've assumed that they somehow changed locations without telling him. Along with the garish new name and logo, the company also pivoted from bulk shipping to individual package delivery, and his beloved delivery truck had been replaced with a dinky electric scooter. Somehow they were also able to resize packages, and said dinky scooter was inexplicably able to carry massive items several times larger than it without tipping over or losing maneuverability. In some cases it was even capable of transforming to allow Rec to traverse water, fly through the air and even travel through space, though it seemed to happen automatically only when a delivery required it.
As strange as it all was, Rec was not about to quit anytime soon though; working as a deliveryman had been the most stable and satisfying job of his life, and he wasn't about to give that all up if he was still getting paid the same. Still, he felt an odd sense of isolation as his manager was replaced with automated messages giving him missions for deliveries, and little by little his fellow deliverymen began to disappear from the workplace until it seemed like it was just Rec and some vague upper management he never got to see. Rec quickly found himself far from lonely, however, as it was company policy to always hand packages directly to clientele. Whether it was luck or some kind of careful engineering on the management's part, Rec always managed meet with his recipients directly no matter where he delivered to. Many clients even invited him to chat or participate in something they were doing, with some more forceful about it than others. Rec was initially wary of taking time off his job to socialize, but the company did not seem to have any issue with how long it took for him to get back from a delivery, with the next one always being perfectly timed.
Though his work had suddenly gotten much more chaotic, Rec couldn't deny that it was certainly never dull.
I finally managed to come up with the company Rec works for. It used to be a regular shipping company before Hellfarch secretly bought it out and rebranded it all just to mess with Rec and force him to confront the fact that he likes larger men. To that end, Hellfarch likes to give Rec delivery jobs that take him to strange places with hunky clientele that would love to get their hands on a cute shrinking snake like him, and Rec sticks with the job out of a stubborn refusal to admit that he secretly likes it. Thanks for
