Well, I thought I'd wait another couple of months before making one of those, in part because birthday so this has been a pretty good couple of months for my collection, but not for my shelf space lol
Velocitron Scourge
I mean he's basically the same as Laser Prime from a while ago, just much sexier in his black, pink, and teal colours. I sold Laser Prime to cover the costs
Studio Series Bumblebee Arcee
I remember everyone was hyped for this straggler of the BBM Movie deluxes, and she is pretty great! Her articulation is good, she's more solid than a lot of SS Deluxe figures, and her vehicle mode takes Arcee's annoyingly awkward design into consideration. AAAAnd I lost one of her guns. Ffs.
Legacy Blitzwing
Ugh. Big buyers remorse on this one, so much I've already sold him. The bot mode is great, the tank mode is alright I guess, but the jet is just unforgivably bad. Mine had a lot of dodgy QC issues too, that weren't dealbreakers but they made him very annoying to do anything with.
Studio Series Dark of The Moon Bumblebee
This and the next figure I actually got on my birthday. He's actually one of the best SS Deluxes I've handled, outside of the 1986 or Bumblebee figures, but he IS fiendishly complex for his size.
Studio Series 1986 Wheelie
A neat little deluxe. Back in the old days he would've just come with Grimlock lol. Wheelie didn't strike me as a particularly awkward design to adapt physically so I'm surprised it took nearly 40 years for this.
MP51 Arcee
This figure seems controversial, and I get the comments about the torso proportions but overall I quite like this MP. The transformation isn't as messy as some MP-style Arcees I've seen - MMC Arcee does look better overall but I gotta say I prefer the face on this one. I DID get her heavily discounted though, and there's no way she's worth her actual price of £180.
TE01 OP Leader Optimus Prime
This is the definitive G1 Optimus for a lot of people and for good reason (although the upcoming Magic Square upscale looks great). He's very posable, very solid, and not complex to the point of frustration - although he IS complex, don't get me wrong.
Generation Selects Black Zarak
Slashed to £70 + £20 new job voucher from parents, very nice. This is my first first-hand titan and the unboxing was sure something. He has some insane shelf presence, but transforming him is an actual workout lol.
Cybertron Megatron
I wasn't gonna buy anything else this month (G1 Megatron was in the post), but ebay threw this holy grail at me for cheaper than even it's original shelf price. The design has a lot of aging issues - not breakages or anything (although there is one small one, not visible here), the articulation is just a little primitive. Still, it's a very neat look for Megatron and I kinda want him to be a batmobile more lol
MP36 Megatron (bootleg)
Yeah I ain't paying £350 for the genuine one. Still, the bootleg has had no issues so far (although I've only had him like three hours). He is just as complex as they say, but like TE01 he is insanely expressive, aided by the boatload of addons he comes with.
Royal Mail September Commemorative Stamps
So this is a weird one. I don't collect stamps but OOP Lizzie 2 died and guess what the last stamps released during her reign were. They use mostly the marvel designs for the art, which is pretty neat. Either way, I suspect these were a wise investment lol - I've heard they're doing proper commemorative stamps for her but shhhh they are posthumous.
