Ruth dropped her mirror as a wave of shock ran over her. It looked like she was wearing a mask, but she didn't remember putting one on. As she was trying to grasp at what was going on, her ears began to lengthen.
Mia was having problems of her own. After noticing her skin was cool and hard to the touch, she braved a glance down at her arms. One seemed to be completely robotic, while the other was right in the middle of transforming.
