A commission for Synicism, of his red fox fursona in the midst of some photographic urban exploration. This piece was a lot of fun to build, especially because of the excellent references the commissioner provided to me. As it turns out, he is actually quite the avid urban photographer himself, and the commission was inspired by actual excursions into various decaying industrial structures. A lot of the textures I used in this commission were actually pulled from the photos he took and provided, to add a touch of personal realism.
As for what the central gadget is or what it originally was for, I haven’t the foggiest. But anything with pressure dials on it is bound to do something cool.

Gee... I can look at this in magnification, and it's still tight. This reminds me a lot of how I like to spend my vacations, going into the dark and dusty recesses of abandoned factories or bouncing about in the rusty innards of a museum ship. I really like the "Gadget" too. It's not too uncommon to find machinery that had been partially disassembled, then jerry rigged back together again, and used in that condition for years.
Man this is what I'm looking for more in furry art, People and their interests just like this, this is fantastic, and so much more personality shines through this way. fantastic touches with the textures, I really could benefit from learning to use textures in digital color.
