Not bad. You can always forge it a bit thinner too and give it a bit more character. I've never really forged a leaf yet, too simplistic for my taste and it always seems like the go-to thing people make.

If it's too thin it cuts pockets and legs of people who carry keys with such keychain. So thin leaves are only for roses, not for keychains.

You can take some time to round the edges with a file as well as some sand paper. I'm sure 1mm thickness isn't too thin to cause such damage

It will ruin forged color and texture and will look ugly. After such a procedure you'd need to sand the whole keychain to make it match sanded border.

Well, that's why you file and sand before you stick it back into the forge to heat it up and apply beeswax

I like to let it glow and scale up a bit so the file marks disappear.
