Hey curious, I've seen you in this suit in pics and there was a giant black box attached to your back: what is the black box? It sorta looks like a speaker with a car amp on top? Is that what it is?

Yup thats my speakerbox. Ive had several different models over the years.....4 to be exact. I like to play music in the fursuit parades and starting random dances outside usually =P.

Nice!! Is it just a speaker from a shelf system? I'd imagine it's pretty heavy regardless. And how do you power the system? Using a power wheels battery?

i had two models that were originally bookshelf speakers but my newest ones were both handmade from MDF in my basement. I use a car amplifier and a small lead acid battery in the first two models and this new one has a lithium ion motorcycle battery that weighs only 1.5 Lbs

Isn't the MDF heavy? How thick is the wood (please no that's what she said jokes >>)?

and very cool, never thought of a motorcycle battery. I assume when it goes flat you just stick it on a charger?

eah its a lil weighty mebe 25 lbs or so im not sure i havnt exactly weighed it but its not horrible. But yeah exactly i can charge the battery and it lasts for hours and hours. It was an expensive battery though so i would expect nothing less.
