Let me tell you the tale of Lassarion, Dragon of the Sun and one of Primordial Dragon's. Billion's of years ago, when the Earth was had just finished the process of being formed, four being came into existence and began their way toward the infant planet with utmost importance. One among them was incubated from with the core of Sun, to which eventually birthed out a draconic being that body is made of the star own flame. As flew through the void of space toward the barren world, compel only by instinct, it soon came upon three other beings beside itself; the Dragon of the Moon, Dragon of the Earth and Dragon of the Ocean. These four, immensely powerful beings shared a single goal since their birthed, to protect the still growing world from the forces beyond the void, that wish to prevent life from ever existing. For eon's, these four dragons battle and fought off horde of untold evil, some formless and mysterious, other monstrous and hideous in nature, their sizes varies from swarm to colossal. Yet against such an innumerable force's, the four dragons unleashed primordial powers that would be the countermeasure to the enemy own numbers.

The Primordial Dragon's gave it their all, destroying thousand up thousand for years non-stop, giving the planet the chances to eventually give form to the first lifeforms and overtime bring forth the top alphas of the food chains, known from now on as "Humans". As the first man came to being and any dangers from beyond the world had cease, the four dragons had finally fulfilled their purpose to protecting the world, though now leave the question as to what to do next. After some discussion among each other, the Four Primordial Dragon's concluded that they now deserve some rest for their hard work, each one going to a different part of the world as their own territory. As thousands of years goes by, each of the Primordial Dragon's soon began giving life to new dragon's to the world, though the new generation don't possess their immense strength and instead becoming more variant in type of form, such as the classic Western Dragons, Chinese Dragons, Wyvern's, Wyrm's and many more.

Eventually, history soon turned in legend and overtime to myth, as dragons have all mysteriously vanish with no traces or advice of their existence. By the 21st century, dragons have now just becoming stories of entertainment media, whether if dragons are monsters in movies or cute mascot in children shows . None are even aware about the existence of the Primordial Dragon's, expect for a small faction of humans who are in fact been keeping the truth of dragons from the world, known as the Scale Keepers. These humans are actual believer's of the Primordial Dragon's, and more importantly are host to the ancient bloodline of the dragons, to which one such person is Caleb Fortier. Caleb is owner of a bookstore, who has distant himself from his own family, who are also members of the Scale Keepers, due to their difference in interests and wanted to live his life in peace. But one day, his sister came with the Sun Egg, which contain the reincarnation of the Sun Dragon, with a warning that a dangerous group has discover their secret base and attempt to take the egg, to which now she need his help to protect it. Caleb and his sister, with the aid of his friend Nolan, attempted to leave the town for safety, only to instead been caught by said group.

The interaction with Caleb and the group resulted in him getting shot in the attempt to save his sister, yet instead of dying from blood lost, the Sun Egg hatch and reveal a baby dragon, to which then merge with Caleb in the attempt to save his life, thus being reborn as the divine being of the sun, now going by the name Lassarion. Although it has yet been able to regain back his original form, the strength of the dragons still flowing through her veins, making her a force of destruction to those who dare attempt to challenge her. Yet it ain't just brute forces that make her a threat, but the fact that as the Dragon of the Sun, she has power of a solar flame within her claws that are hot enough to melt anything that are within her reach. However, despite her god-like powers, she think of herself as the guardian of the world, as she once was in the beginning in the world conception, thus would never attempt to force her wills on others, and instead accept respect or worship of those who are willing to give it. Like the sun that bath the world, she willing shield the weak and frighten from the forces of darkness and tries her best to shine hope with her divine flames.

The name Lassarion is a tribute to an old friend of my,  columbus11, who created an interesting CYOC story involving a man name Lar's. In one path, I contribute in making a story about him becoming a dragon goddess. Although now he hasn't been active for quite sometime and no one has yet been able to made contact with him, I do hope he is doing alright and wish him a good luck in life.
