this was my final for my printmaking class. It's done in intaglio etching with a little aquatint for the bg. I hope you all enjoy it, soon I'll upload the rest of my assignments that I did for that class. :)

Thank you! Aquatint is so tricky, the first project I tried it on the print came out so dark that I had to burnish a lot to get some of the light values back. I'm not sure if it was rosin or some other material for the aquatint, all that I know is it was some sort of material from a tree. ^^'
Thanks! lets see.... the hard ground etching was in the acid for about 35 mins then the aquatint was in the acid for 30 sec for the clouds and 1 min and 15 secs for the sky. Drawing took a long time to draw and scratch into the tar as well, so it was a super time consuming project but lot's of fun! :)
