I wanted to try my own take on Krystal's surly alter-ego that appears in one of Star Fox Command's saddest endings.
Star Fox Command has a bunch of bad endings, and one of them involves Krystal being alone, even after the galaxy is saved. Since she has no one to go to, she decides to escape to a system far away. She changes her name to Kursed and becomes a bounty hunter. Even Fox doesn't recognize her anymore.
I really don't like this ending because of how depressing it is. However, I have found some great fanfics that attempt to tell the story of what happens to Kursed after she chooses this life. Several of them involve Fox and Kursed meeting again by a chance of fate and they get back together! These are my favorite kinds of stories. Redemption arcs!! There is heartbreak and hardships at every turn, but there is a very happy ending to wrap it all up.
Even if Kursed has endured unimaginable pain and has become a mere shadow of the vixen that Fox fell in love with, she is not too late to be redeemed. With enough time and support, even a shattered heart can be healed...
I have a few fanfic ideas of my own lately. I don't know if I'll end up actually writing something, but it's fun to brainstorm ideas.
I like thinking about how Kursed would appear in a project of my own. Admittedly, I like her design and I feel like it has a lot of potential.
I feel like she would still resemble her old self, but she would be thinner and more toned. A totally different outfit from what she has had before, but she still has the same staff. Her hair is dyed and longer. She has many scars since she began the dangerous life of a hunter, plus a robot arm that her jacket mostly hides. This life has caused her to mature rapidly. But she still deserves a happy ending, even if she thinks she does not.
Making Kursed a broken character makes it all the more satisfying when she is finally redeemed. If I write anything with her, there is a 100% chance she will be happy at the end of her story, and all the loneliness and horrible things she endured will be nothing but distant memories.
I'll probably draw her again, and probably also go for something more emotional.

You are a bit sensitive, but that's how you are and that it's okay, that is good.
Now about krystal, reedemption means you did something Bad and i personally don't think Kristal did something wrong.

Well yeah, when I see someone look at a story path where a character joins the villains, pulls the Star Fox universe equivalent of saying "Hitler did nothing wrong" (about the guy responsible for her being the only evidence that Cerinia ever existed, mind you, and to the man whose dad was killed by that same guy) and helps the villains win, then claims this character didn't do anything bad, of course I'm gonna wonder what they're thinking and point out why that statement is false.
Yeah, it is now, since Nintendo did the smart thing and declared that basically everything but the new characters they made for it will be ignored if they ever continue the story, but at the time of its release, it was meant to be canon, but with no way of knowing which ending they intended as the default one.

I mean, that ending is from the path where she not only literally joins the villains just to spite Fox, decides she's suddenly really into Panther and tries to convince Fox that Andross isn't a bad person, but also helps those villains to victory, so... Hard to feel too sorry for her.
Yeah, one of the MANY problems with Command was how much the script portrayed Krystal as a massive unstable bitch in most paths.

I agree their relationship in Command was bad, which gives me even more motivation to try and make it work out!
And I'll admit I'm also a big fan of bounty hunters and their designs, I would have drawn Samus hundreds of times by now if I wasn't so intimated by her armor design.

Funny thing about Samus being called that, actually, the only reason she's called a bounty hunter is because no one at Nintendo knew what the term meant until someone at Retro informed them that it doesn't mean "futuristic superhero". This is also why Captain Falcon is referred to as a bounty hunter despite being more akin to an Interpol officer. They also don't seem too clear on what a mercenary is, because the Star Fox team has been interchangeably called mercenaries and bounty hunters.
