Le monde a toujours été horrible... Et si les Hommes étaient vraiment de bonne volonté, ils pourraient en faire quelque-chose de mieux.
Le problème est que les Hommes ne sont pas de bonne volonté....

En fait, quand je parlais de société actuelle, c'était surtout pour faire référence au streaming live. Mais sinon je suis moi aussi bien d'accord pour dire que le monde et les hommes ont toujours été horribles. Je croise les doigts pour que des femmes plus sages et de meilleure volonté prennent le pouvoir.

I am now thinking of a scenario where a security perimeter is installed around the tortoise (to avoid people approaching the helpless tortoise) and the officers maintaining the perimeter waiting for an official permission to take action. Meanwhile, in some administrative office, the employees are running everywhere, trying to find the budget that is allocated for this kind of operation…

My mind is sick and cruel, I know.

What would happen if people could anonymously vote between these 3 choices :
-1- Help the tortoise (return it and let it go its own way) ?
-2- Let the tortoise in this position for 20 minutes more ?
-3- Ignore the voting ? (i.e. "no opinion")

Hopefully, that kind of situation would never happen IRL…
