So for a few days now i have been trying to figure out how the mechanisms are going to work for the legs and i thought, 'hey why not get some actual bear bones as reference' and seeing as how i already have a snow stalker model (albeit without the fur) i figured that i would give it bones, at least in the legs. The bones i am using are from a grizzly bear model that i found online as i couldn't find any polar bear bones (believe me i tried) since the stalker is primarily moodled after a polar bear at least in body type and stature, so these will have to do, and i have lined them up to match the model as if it is a cutaway, i did allure the bones a little bit but honestly didn't have to do much since all i needed to do was line them up and make sure i had a placeholder for a "spine". This will be my reference guide to figuring out the mechanisms for the legs such as how they are going to bend, what the rotation limits are and overall how It's going to mechanically work. Please consider donating to help fund this project as once funded i can fully get it off the ground and start some real work on it since for now i am simply doing some small planning whenever i get the time to but materials to actually build it will come from the donations and once it is all done i will give away the plans as well as any 3D files associated, so you can make your own.
