This was something that happened on dA.

The furry thing with feathers is male (represents me), the dragon is genderless (represents the user with whom it happened).
The scene would be best described in my friend's words: "A cat-sized dragon riding on the shoulder of a sprinting midget".

Over in #IAmAnthro (dA's official anthro chat), I and another user were play-RPing and my respawn point was under a third user's bed. At one point I "forgot" to exit the underside of the bed, and ilsh was waiting deviously outside for the moment I would come out. At one point, however, both of us forgot that I was "there" so ilsh decided to sit on my shoulder.
During a moment of distraction, however, and not remembering that ilsh had posted that, I came out running to avoid whatever mischief ilsh was planning on exerting once I would have come out.

(note: "ilsh" is a gender-neutral pronoun I use to designate this specific user)

Hence we have this situation, and because it was awesome like that I decided to draw it. I'm sort of happy with the result, apart from the dragon's awkward positioning and the fact that the scanner ruined the colour job on the lighter areas.

I got a kneadable eraser recently, and was truly pleased to try it out during the colouring phase of this drawing. It helped me a lot with lighting/shading, I wouldn't have dared to try something like that with my regular eraser.

The orange guy's actually my chatsona, not really a fursona, but I guess I can keep him as a projection of my self (this isn't the first time I've sketched him out although it is the first time I've inked and coloured him).
