Lite and N have literally grown up together in comparison to other MCs of BW/BW2 so their entire “hero” face off meant so SO much more to them emotionally. I genuinely love their relationship as a ship and a friendship very very much.

He gave Lite her new name after she ran away from her parents, he instilled the passion in Pokémon she has now with his constant love and devotion. So watching her friend slowly change and become manipulated by Ghetsis wasn't exactly going to sit well with her in the long run. Two heroes, best friends, lovers, whatever you call them. Fates always intertwined between truth and ideals.
