Huzzah! It's Bosky! It's not only good to see him, but also great to see someone has taken advantage of that ice cream stand. Now the only question that remains is whose going to get the donkey rides? :)

*giggle* I don't think there'll be any room for donkeys when all 24 cubs have arrived! They'll just have to be off-screen...

Incidentally, I realise I'm probably confusing a lot of people with the "donkey rides" sign, seeing as that's such a uniquely British seaside attraction. But for everyone living here who's ever been to the beach, it just wouldn't look right without donkeys! ^.^

I love and appreciate how you share culturual elements with us over here stateside. I've been to a few beaches on the East Coast, but no donkey rides to be found. Though, I do believe it would be a fun treat for the kids to enjoy a holiday in the sand with an exotic ride. :)

Ooh, and here I thought it was probably a reference to one specific beach you really liked that'd have donkey rides; I had no idea it applied to all British beaches!

It's both! All British beaches do have donkeys (well, maybe not so much nowadays, but they still did when I was little), but this scene is specifically a reference to Skegness, where we always used to go for a day at the seaside.
