The Rolok is a placid creature that mostly feeds on small animals that live in the ground. It locates them with very very small hairs under its jaw. If it does locate something in the ground it moves back and forth and uses the thorns on its jaw to plough the ground. After the ground it softened the Rolok heaves it massive body up so it can ram his jaw into the earth and catch the small animals. It filters them out by pressing air into its mouth. The earth falls out of the mouth while the animals are cought by the hooks on the maxilla. The hooks shove the animals back into the mouth while digestive juices are injected into their bodies.

The Rolok can also live like a plant (this is more like a hibernation-phase) It uses the tentacles as roots (they're retractable and there are ussually 8 to 12 of them in the backplant) You'll always know if a Rolok hibernated on a certain place, because the whole ground is dried up. The Rolok rarely cuts a tree with a with its claws and lives like a parasite.

The Rolok also uses the tentacles as a mean of transportation. ( the trees in the region it lives are gigantic too and can handle the enormous weight of the Rolok) It swings trough the forest by holding onto the branches.

Due its size, there aren't many predators that would dare to attack it. If a predator dares to attack the Rolok, it will either use its front tooth that contains an powerful poison or the thorns on the tentacle and the backflower to rip the attacking predator in pieces. But those aren't all the defend tactics. They're parasites living in the Rolok feeding on some internal juices that the Rolok excretes. If the Rolok is in great danger it actually throws the parasites at the Predator by pushing them out of its tail. Ussually the parasites are also placid living but the Rolok excretes a pheromone that makes them highly aggressive. It uses the pheromone with extreme caution, because the effect of the pheromone lasts for a certain time. So if the predator is killed all too soon the parasites won't hesitate to attack the Rolok.

After defeating an aggressor the Rolok falls into a 'feed' frenzy and starts to consume the body of the aggressor.

The horn on the head is used to attract females in during the mating time.

The Rolok can't see colors and shapes. It only sees the difference between bright and dark


I would like to call it a kaiju but it's too small to be in the same category as Godzilla.

Quite much information, I know... I'll change a little part of the head. the legs and the tail also will be changed.
