Very obviously based on the comic panel where Blaze visits Knuckles on Angel Island/in Lava Reef Zone.
I couldn't help myself, the scene looked so neat I wanted a shot at it in my style. Which, I'm aware annoys some people because it's not the same as the series but- whatever, I wouldn't have redrawn it in the same style if it looked exactly the same :P
