Name: Raya De La Cruz
Nationality: American (Hispanic)
Species: Equus caballus
Breed: Mustang
Coloring: Palomino ("Dirty")
Sex: Female
Height: 5'11"
Raya is the culmination of a character I made in 2010, and she has gone through several iterations since that time. Named "Raya", which I meant to be the feminized version of the Spanish word "rayo", translated as "thunderbolt", she was redesigned to this current form in 2017.
American by birth, her heritage traces back to Medieval Spain, and her Hispanic roots often show in the way she talks and acts. Raised in a middle class, well off household, Raya quickly stood out from her peers as a result of her energy and vivacious attitude. Often, she would get into scuffles with others, but never became high profile in her actions.
Despite her rambunctious, spirited persona, Raya excelled in her studies and became interested in law and policing, these interests solidifying after a ride along with her local P.D. at the age of 18. At the age of 23, Raya received her B.A. in Criminal Justice, shortly thereafter, enlisted to her local police academy, and received her badge successfully.
Raya is an active officer, holding the rank of Sergeant. Despite her official position, she has garnered plenty of friends (from various users here on FA), and often reveals her more "playful" side of things with ease.
Raya's official color is Porsche Miami Blue, reflected in her lingere here ;)
