On the 5th September I said goodbye to my girl Lulu. She was my first dog, she was with me throughout all of my teenage and adult life up to now. She managed to reach 14 years of age before the multitude of health issues she had was stealing too much of her quality of life. It was a heartbreaking decision but it gives me relief knowing she's no longer in any pain. It was strangely calming seeing her sleep so peacefully beside me in her final moments before she passed on.

We all miss you so much Lulu, especially your brother Dexter. The house feels so quiet without you.. my heart still aches and will for a long time.

You'll always be in my heart and thoughts, and I'm so glad to have your beautiful pawprint forever tattooed on my arm.
