I keep seeing all of these doberman characters and fursonas around and hardly ANY of them have uncropped ears or undocked tails. I know that it's popular to crop and dock dobermans but c'mon...not ALL of them are!

So, I made Holt. He's kind of a drama queen and extremely spoiled. Yes, that would be a sparkling gold mani-pedi (manicure/pedicure) that he's got. His claws are normally just a dark brown. Though he is docked, his ears remain uncropped. His parents had him docked as a pup so he had no say in it.

I've always thought docking with anthro characters would be something of a parental decision (since IRL you dock dogs when they're pups) whereas cropping would be more a cosmetic thing such as piercings and tattoos (or for the more extreme: tongue splitting). I dunno...just an idea.

SO Holt decided against getting his ears cropped.

He's probably queer too.
