William Osbourne - Rhapsody for Clarinet
first things first.......
If your thinking, hey... that's not a clarinet
THEN YOUR RIGHT, it's not.
this is a recording of the Osbourne Rhapsody for Clarinet played on Bass Clarinet.
and if your like... Hey... whats a Bass Clarinet....
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4420604/
and if your still confused... I can't help you sorry.
but anyways, this is a piece done for my semester jury on our clarinet studio recital... Yeah there's some obvious mistakes and flubs but things happen, especially when nerves come into place. I think I did overall pretty well, this also being the first time I've ever played my bass as a solo instrument for the public. Which is something I've been wanting to do for a long time.
So enjoy some music played by your very own husky!!!

Yay bass clarinets!
Hehe the squeak aroun :55 is something that happens to me all the time @_@. Hate whatever flaw makes it do that
It's very good man. I just think you coulda taken more time with it, especially the 16th notes. Love the recapitulation section before "fiero", so low and dark. Kudos on the ridiculous 16th note runs in the fiero section, yours went a lot better than mine.
Great job man, it sounds like you were well prepared. Everyone's interpretation of this piece is a little different, and I really happen to like yours ^_^
