Did you have trouble texturing the other side? You can use a fullering hardie to help with that.

"The other side" - you mean the inside part, or the side that can't be seen in this photo?

The inside part was not textured intentionally.

The unseen part is untextured, because it's pendant, it needs to be comfortably worn.

Other side of the pendant would only suggest the other side of the disk shape it is made from. I guess in terms of comfort a ground and polished back side would be better for it then, eh?

Yup, although it's not necessary: it's mild steel, it will rust upon prolonged contact with bare skin, so it's on cloth only pendant. And cloth don't need mirror polish to be comfortable, just no excessive textures.
