this is the first time I've ever seen an EMD with a 3-piece windshield. I probably won't ever seen one on the BNSF, as most of their SD60's with the three-piece are in helper service.

SOO only had three of those SD60Ms according to what I've learned from videos documenting them. For some reason these units really did not take off with many roads other then UP and Conrail.

I mean they still use them a lot down here on rock train service.

I've heard similar stories. I guess it's kind of cool that they only have three and it was right in front of me. I never gave the Soo as much attention as I should have.
