Awwwww that's sweet. <:3 I was thinking of what kind of song to put but first off, what is your idea for the music in this flash?

Haven't even considered it yet, though I am thinking of using a 'war flashback' soundtrack of escalating explosions/gunfire/yelling/screaming that goes from when he takes off his glasses until the climax.

Hmmm... not bad. I was thinking of a Coldplay song but I don't think it would go right with the whole "War Flashback" at any point. :/

I had to chuckle at the book ending. Anyways, I think it needs a nice instrumental background of some sort to help bolster the emotions you're trying to portray, but I think you did a fine job telling the story.

Seems like a very Pixar-ish short story. :)

This is a really good animation. Like furry freak said there should be some sort of music. I was thinking of something kind of soft with some kind of sound effects that would create a better emotional feeling toward it.

The only thing that doesn't read is the initial shot of the pictures on the mantel where we see the picture of him and the lady. The pictures are separate. I'd suggest three pictures: one with him, one with the couple, one with her and the cat -- but that'd be even harder to read with how fast it goes by.

Consider a single picture that has both of them together. Though I'm not sure how to illustrate that she's passed on. Might just have to leave that to be inferred.

With the shot of winter, the old man reading, and his lamentation of the passing of his wife, I was expecting that rapping to be a raven at the window .
