I've given a light description of his basic features here in my character sheet submission: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3485891/
He is basically an anthro-feline.
His fur is orange for the most part and his paw hands and feet are a little bit of a lighter brown, with the soles of his hands being a darker brown. The claws on his fingers are a little sharp, but short.
His eyes are a "greenyellow" color (like this: "█████" with a little bit of a "yellow"ish color around his irises (like a snake or cat maybe? =/ ).
He has an enchanted long sword (you can draw it however you want to^^ ) that would have a light blue aura around it, and he has one of those sword sheaths that people wear over their arms where the sheath is on his back (it would be a sword that could absorb the health of others.^^ Could you make the blueness around it look fiery?).
I haven't really thought of what kind of clothes he would wear, but could you draw him wearing a belt around his waist that has places for small vials that hold purple and light blue liquids in them? He would be holding these vials because he's a little bit of an alchemist (if you wanted to go ahead and draw him wearing some "olden times"ish clothes, that would be really cool too! Just don't forget that trusty belt! XD).
He doesn't have a "really buff" build (like some of your characters do XD), but he's muscular enough to not look TOO flimsy.
The tips of his ears are like the coloration of the fur of his paws. His ears are pointy, but not TOO pointy.
He has a sort of spikey hair on his head, but it's the same color of his fur. It's kinda like the hairstyle of "Cloud Strife" from the "Advent Children" Final Fantasy 7 movie (where it "flows around" but is not too long in the spikeyness. XD).
His tail is like a house cat's tail, but larger since he's tallish. And it ends in that same brown color as the fur of his paws and paw feet.
As a pose, could you draw him in a way where he has a smile on his face (where his sharp-ish teeth are showing) while looking to his right ("the left" from the viewer's standpoint), and has his right fist in the palm of his left hand? I want him to look kinda "righteous," but happy at the same time (which is his natural personality). It would be one of those "punching your right fist into your left hand" poses, like he was getting ready for a fight.^^
Also, if it's not too much to ask, will this be a full body shot?
Sorry to have so many particular expectations.
And if you've already drawn a pose for him, it's okay to continue the drawing in that pose too.^^
If you drew that test picture of him with him in an "action like" pose, could you make it look like he's holding the sword I mentioned?

Thank you very, very, very [10 years later... XDDD] very much for drawing him. I can't say that enough.
Also, the muscular build you gave him is kinda like what I'd expect to see a "nepharim" have (a nepharim is basically an anthro feline with a stronger build). I keep on saying that a nepharim would be 3 times as tall as a normal humanoid, but that's probably too tall. XD Maybe twice that height would be more suitable?
I've also had a really cute idea for how his friend "Sheryl" would look, but I don't want to bombard you with requests. I know it takes a long time to draw things for some folks, and I don't want to sound pushy.
The pose I have in mind would be kinda like "Sol Badguy's" pose on Guity Gear when he enters a fight (before he picks up his sword).^^
Is it okay if I submit this to my gallery, and give you full credit?
